I cut the flower and the larger veining near the flower with a spiral, but switched over to a straight blade for the rest. Not perfect when you give it the "serious eye", but from a viewing distance it all disappears. Nice how that works out. Think about the many times she will show her friends and family this piece and I know she will have many hours just enjoying looking at it herself.
