Popular Post Wichman Posted November 19, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted November 19, 2023 Whew, almost done with this one. Tomorrow I will add a couple of coats of shellac. 12 1/2 hrs of cutting 15 minutes for the plaque outline. 3/8" Elm for the plaque 1/8" hardboard for the backer, backer prepainted. FD Polar #1 for most of the fretwork, about 4 holes needed #2/0, #5 Polar for the outline. A lot of time but it looks good. DickMira, RabidAlien, Dak0ta52 and 10 others 13 Quote
ChelCass Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 Great cutting. Russ Beard's patterns are awesome but oh so challenging. You did a great job cutting it. Wichman 1 Quote
Joe W. Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 That looks like the kind of pattern where a person could practice their "sailor language". Well done! barb.j.enders and Wichman 1 1 Quote

FrankEV Posted November 19, 2023 Report Posted November 19, 2023 Quik question. Looking at the photo I'm curious, did you paint the backer behind the fox Orange? I would have thought you would have used a red or gray? Quote

Looks orange to me. Quote
