Christmas Ornaments - Scroll Saw Challenge

I was looking through our past scroll saw challenges, looking for a new December challenge.  I found it strange that even though we push Holiday Ornaments, with our Ornaments For Charity ebook and Personalized Ornament kits, we have never done an actual Ornament scroll saw challenge!  So this month, let's show off those ornaments!  Post a few pictures of your scrollsaw ornaments.  It would be fun to see what you've made.  Tell us a little bit about them while you're at it.  We'd even love to see them on the tree!

The first shot is a compilation of cuttings I have given family through the years. (Explains the duplication)

Second are a few birdhouses I have done. The birds are displayed separately. 

Third shot is some designs from this year on 1/4" poplar backers. I also mounted some cuttings on purchased metal blanks.

Finally, we move on to Randolph who is Rudolph's not so serious cousin. I have had a blast with this pattern. Some have shiny earrings, some have loop earrings and so on.

I love doing ornaments and giving them to friends and family.

Here are a few I have made recently. I have been trying to use up bits and pieces of wood I have that are too thin for about anything else and also trying to learn to cut thin stock. Stack cutting is not an option since I only want one of each. I have also been learning some new photography and photo editing skills.

Beautiful cutting, Bob. Love your patterns. I've just finished up a batch of band sawn reindeer. Next up are scrolled Christmas ornaments. Hope mine turn out as nice as yours. Don't hold your breath,  though.

This year I volunteered to make portrait ornaments for members of my church in exchange for donations to the church as "payment". Made 56, so far.

oh Boy! I was hoping you would do a Christmas Ornament challenge. These are just the ones I have done for this year.  Every year I make a new batch of Christmas Ornaments.

2022 Christmas tree with ornaments made that year.  Several are hanging on the window screen. The snowmen are made from Jenga blocks but could be easily made with a scrollsaw.  The penguin and Snowman are burnt out light bulbs.

Did a quad stack cut of the snowman, and a triple stack for the 3D Tree one. I'm done with Christmas cutting now.

ps: Finished 3 rolling toys yesterday.

I would love to know the origian of the Bless "Bless this Food" one.  I made one similar for my daughter but it was more of a plaque with script.  It has hung in her dinning room for years in a couple different houses, I like this one even better.

This was a cute cut.  I didn't plan for it to be an ornament, but he can't stand up!  Al Baggatta pattern.

I made a batch of these photo frame insert ornaments this year. The photo is not very good because my printer fuser roller was bad and the inkjet printer was clogged again.

Well, I've pondered long enough on deciding what ones of the 150+ ornaments that I sell to post on here,LOL.. Honestly some of the best ones I like are actually done on the laser but I didn't want to offend anyone on the scroll saw site so I'll stick to the scroll sawn ones.. My favorites to make and most popular sellers are mostly career themed.. so I'll post a few of the more popular ones.. and a couple that I really like but really not popular sellers..
