Popular Post Tbow388
Here is my latest Portrait, Just in time for Christmas. By far my favorite pattern as it was hand drawn by Charlie E. The piece is Poplar with rough sides. The Frame is rough cut Poplar and Oak splines. Charlie E
I love how you did that Timothy. The rough cut lumber is fitting. Nice job! MarieC and Tbow388 1
Charlie E
Just to be clear, all I can draw is flies. I did make the pattern, but with a pencil and carbon paper from this beautiful image. Tbow388 and MarieC

I tried to make the majority of the cuts very sharp and pointy. I uses #1 and #2/0 blades. I am not a spiral blade fan but I did use them for the fingers and some of the wood details. You still had to have the vision to decide what to sketch which requires a talent on it's own. Good on ya! I absolutely love your rendition. Tbow388
I have decided to give this my my Daughter in law for Christmas instead of selling it. I am giving 5 or 6 different portraits away for Christmas this year. It's been a tough year for sales so I will use them as presents.
