KurtP
I don't wear a mask but Steve Good did a review on a Totobobo mask back in 2011. This one looks interesting. Here are the links to it http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.ca/2011/09/totobobo-dust-mask-quick-review.html http://totobobo.com/index.html
Gordon Halliwell
Always wear one, use a JSP 725 Moulded Typhoon Valved Mask Disposable Mask. They have a adjustable elastic strap and a wire over the nose part which allows you to ensure a close fit. I wear glasses and they do tend to fog up slightly. Would like to purchase a Trend visor but cannot justify paying over £200.
Ged3
I think it is a good idea to wear a dust mask. Keeping dust out of the workshop is also important. I use an air filtration system to keep small particles out, and a dust collector next to my scroll saw. There is a good article on this you may be interested in here: 3 Tips To Reduce Your Exposure To Sawdust Hope this helps Ged
Ron Johnson
I always wear a dust mask. It's a ½ mask, single filter in front purchased many years ago. Very comfortable with no fogging. Sad part it's no longer available. So I treat it with special care and have a supply of replacement filters to hopefully last a few more years. Ged3
I think Zen Scroller made a very good post about hands free magnifiers and how they can eliminate the need for goggles. There is a good hands free magnifier here that people may be interested in. Hope this helps.
