Popular Post Hudson River Rick Posted December 22, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted December 22, 2023 This little guy started life as a Sue Mey pattern, number NW4195 JOY GNOME I cut a tree about 1/8 inch larger than the original pattern to place behind the Gnome tree, and then I glued on a piece of silver glitter paper. I then decided to make our little friend 2 dimentional buy putting a second layer of wood on the hat, gloves, and shoes. I finished it off with a string of "Rice Lites" that I bought on AMAZON, I used hot glue to keep them in place, turned on the switch and viloa. So, Ann Marie decided that he should be on smething seasonal and off to her quilting room she went, you can see the results, it looked great. Well Ann Marie showed it to one her friends, and it sold on the spot. I'm trying to finish another one quickly, because we are hosting all the little ones for a Christmas Party on Sunday afternoon and we know they will get a big kick out of them. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my VILLAGE family. Hopefully, you will get the chance to share some times with the ones you love. Rick wombatie, Wichman, ChelCass and 8 others 11 Quote
