Charlie E’s John Prine Pattern

This is definitely on my top portraits. I play and sing several John Prine songs so I am keeping this one and putting it on my music wall.

The piece is poplar planed down to 1//2”. The frame I wanted to make as unique as John Prine himself so I used 1-1/4 maple butcher block counter top.

But The basement is cozy if you have a fireplace down there. My two favorites are Angel From Montgomery and Clocks and spoons.

Anyone can make frames if you take the time. I almost enjoy making a frame as much as the scroll. Its all a part of the whole project.
