Popular Post Blaughn
A jewelry box for my only granddaughter. This project called for woodworking techniques I have never done before. From the hand cut blind dove tails to controlling chip-out on the curly maple - it has challenged (and frustrated) me beyond measure. The drawers are divided and flocked in black. The bottom drawer has a ring storage area. It is FINALLY done and I will be giving it to her at her birthday party today. It has a hidden drawer that is accessed by a sliding panel on the back. I am ready to get back to scrolling now. Edited January 6 by Blaughn MarieC, heppnerguy, dgman and 24 others 17 1

Blaughn
It is designed by Marc Spagnuolo AKA the Wood Whisperer who sells the plans and has a very helpful array of videos that walk you through the whole project in great detail. https://thewoodwhispererguild.com I had never undertaken anything as ambitious as this and it pushed me to the edge of my abilities. Truth be told - i am glad it is done. The outcome was never assured until it was. I presented it to my 12 year old granddaughter at her birthday party tonight and the smiles and hugs made it all worthwhile. danny, meflick and Fab4

rdatelle
What an awesome job you did on that. I wouldn't know where to start making something like that. You should be very proud on accomplishing a piece like that. It looks a lot bigger sitting on her lap. Blaughn
