Lamp

Making a lamp for a contest at our wood turning club. The lamp was made on the lathe but the shade was made with the scroll saw.

Honestly, when I looked at the first picture I thought it was sort of unique but wasn’t crazy about it. Then I saw the second two pictures, wow, that’s beautiful!

Thanks. I draw the pattern myself with a free program. I think it is called poly draw.

Yes I turned the base on my lathe. It is called basket illusion. The weave around the outside I did with a wood burner. This is a picture of just the base.
