DWSUDEKUM Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 Very unusual and beautifully done. I have never thought to do that in leather. What blade did you use? Thanks for sharing this intriguing idea with us. DW Quote

Thanks for sharing this intriguing idea with us. DW You're Welcome DW. Just a regular blade and medium to high cutting speed. One will have to look for the ideal tpi and cutting speed depending on the leathers characteristics. Make sure you place the leather between two layers of a more rigid material, at least in opposition with the teeth's cutting direction (on the top in my case). I've used no staining just beeswax based polish. Good luck. fEZ. Quote

Helenm2807 Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 Briliant work fEZ! Another of my crafts is leatherwork and, ad DW said, it had never occured to me to combine the two crafts. Wonderful use of the cursive arabic script to create something beautiful. H. Quote
