Popular Post Dave Monk Posted February 15, 2024 Popular Post Report Posted February 15, 2024 On this one I embedded a magnet on the left side so I could add the arrow. This would be helpful if you would be playing someone who is absent so they know it is their move. Charlie E, preprius, goldfish and 10 others 13 Quote
rjweb Posted February 15, 2024 Report Posted February 15, 2024 Dave, another excellent craftsmanship project, every project gets better, what are we going to see you making in a few years, wow, RJ Dave Monk 1 Quote
preprius Posted February 15, 2024 Report Posted February 15, 2024 I played chess by mail with my Dad. We used post cards in 1978. It took 9 months to play. I used table top. I should have had a wall mount. Good project. Well done. Dave Monk 1 Quote

heppnerguy Posted February 15, 2024 Report Posted February 15, 2024 A nice idea. I thought you made it just as a decorative project not used as a means of playing on line. Another beautifully done project, as all of your work is. Dick heppnerguy Dave Monk 1 Quote
wombatie Posted February 16, 2024 Report Posted February 16, 2024 Another awesome piece. Love it, and I don't play chess. Marg Dave Monk 1 Quote
Charlie E Posted February 18, 2024 Report Posted February 18, 2024 Beautiful and I like the arrow. The first time you made one I thought it would be fun to have up and play over a period of time so that's a great idea! Dave Monk 1 Quote

When my daughter saw the first one I made she mentioned that it would be a great graduation gift for my grandson. He will be going off to college and he could put it up in his dorm room and play his roommate as they came and went. That's what rang my bell. Charlie E 1 Quote

How awesome to be able to make things for our family that they’ll love now, plus that will keep us alive in their memories after we’re gone. Edited February 18, 2024 by Charlie E Dave Monk 1 Quote
