Another Magnetic Chess Set.

On this one I embedded a magnet on the left side so I could add the arrow.  This would be helpful if you would be playing someone who is absent so they know it is their move.

I played chess by mail with my Dad.  We used post cards in 1978.   It took 9 months to play.  I used table top. 

I should have had a wall mount.

When my daughter saw the first one I made she mentioned that it would be a great graduation gift for my grandson. He will be going off to college and he could put it up in his dorm room and play his roommate as they came and went. That's what rang my bell.

I love it! How awesome to be able to make things for our family that they’ll love now, plus that will keep us alive in their memories after we’re gone.

I know how the pieces move but that's about it. Chess is very popular now. I love making the sets.
