jimmyG Posted March 27, 2024 Report Posted March 27, 2024 Found and printed out this image on Pinterest. Even though the outline was a tad too thick to scroll I just went down the middle of the thick line, not too much fun. Anyway... Should I leave the Basswood base natural as it is now or just paint it black to match??? JackJones, Charlie E, barb.j.enders and 4 others 7 Quote
dgman Posted March 27, 2024 Report Posted March 27, 2024 I like the contrast of the Basswood to the black. I’d leave it. barb.j.enders, Wilson142, RabidAlien and 3 others 5 1 Quote

Scrappile Posted March 28, 2024 Report Posted March 28, 2024 Well, I am no artist, but I agree with above, unpainted, lacquered and I would tape it off and paint both hearts red! I warned you I am not an artist. It looks great as is also. Quote
Roberta Moreton Posted March 30, 2024 Report Posted March 30, 2024 I would not paint the base. jimmyG 1 Quote
wombatie Posted April 2, 2024 Report Posted April 2, 2024 Fabulous piece of art, well done. Leave the base unpainted. Marg jimmyG 1 Quote
