JTTHECLOCKMAN Posted April 13, 2024 Report Posted April 13, 2024 Looks great, but you should be making golfing items. Quote
TAIrving Posted April 13, 2024 Report Posted April 13, 2024 Very nice Peter! What kind of wood did you use? I have tried to make bowls like that but always seem to get dark sawdust or even pigment bleed from the darker woods into the lighter woods, either from turning or sanding. Do you have a technique to avoid that? BTW, golf is a 12 month sport here in Texas. Quote

I used maple, yellow heart and blood wood, the only dark wood that you have to be careful of bleeding is Padauk TAIrving and JJB 2 Quote
