I used 3/4" Poplar approximately 5 1/2" x 9". Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using a Pegas #5R MGT blade. After lightly sanding, dipped in diluted Shellac, and a second sanding and dipping. Ber Gueda
Denny, do you know if Shellac is safe enough for children toys? I have heard (read) that it is one of the finishes you can use for toys, but maybe you can tell more from your experience. Thanks!
