Help needed on a Excalibur-21

Recommended Posts

Good day Everyone,

Just got me a Excalibur-21 and was really excited to get started scrolling but have found a problem with the saw. When I start up the saw and the blade is running the lower blade clamp is hitting the lower blade guard. I have tried to bend it up out of the way but have had no luck, has anyone ever run into this problem, or have a solution to fix this? Thanks in advanced for any help with this problem.

Brian

Adding to Scott's comment, there is one other change related to blade travel.  It won't fix a "collision issue" but it is important in relation to adjusting the "aggressiveness of the cut".  Don't do this unless you are getting a lot of foward and back motion, after the arm is leveled.   Loosen the bolts around the motor, with speed at it's lowest setting, turn the motor until yout find the sweetspot, where the blade forward and back motion is least.
