Gene Howe
Thank very much for all your suggestions. I think hot glue is my best avenue.
munzieb
Recently I started stack cutting all my 1/8" thick plaques. Cutting 2 is just as easy as cutting one using 1/8" BBPW. A while back I had used Scrolleronline's (Windfield Collection) adhesive 2 sided tape and was very happy with it. It could be removed with no residue and came in a 11.5 x 20' roll and was easy to to apply and remove. It was originally reasonably priced but eventually got way too expensive. It used to be $20 a roll but its now almost $30 a roll. I tried most of the methods listed but eventually went to spraying 2 sides of printer paper with 3M 77 and would remove it with mineral spirits. (smell doesn't bother me and dries quicky with no film) I would use a small injector to apply between the boards and pry them apart. The top pattern sheet would usually come off in one sheet and the middle section would come apart once the MS got through the panels. The boards would clean up quickly with minimum glue residue. Rodney Nelson
When I'm stack cutting I use CA and kicker. Wood must be flush on all sides. Stand wood on edges up right, flush up edges, squeeze tight and run very small bead of CA then spray with kicker. Hold tight for 4-5 seconds Your done. Do this 2-3 times (depending on length of edge) on each edge. Run bead front to back not full length of edge. Use medium CA not thin. Try to not let CA soak in to much before you spray the kicker.Wood will not shift.
