artmill
This project was my first actual scrolling test, unfortunately I used Luan and it ended up with the ply falling out in areas . I had a problem with the luan sucking up the polyurathane spray. All in all it came out just ok . Thanks for looking
DWSUDEKUM
Nicely done. One of the ways to get around that is to use a drying oil such as Tung or Danish oil to seal the project and then just top coat with the other. Thanks for sharing it with us DW

Jim Finn
Most of what I know about woodworking I learned by trial and error. Keep trying different woods and finishes and you will find what works best for you.

Helenm2807
Well done on getting the first one out of the way - that's always the hardest. And you did a good job on it! H.
artmill
Thanks guys, I have since started on new projects using different wood types. I went from the fryng pan into the fire so to speak, so I decided to make clocks for Christmas. I said to myself, this looks easy enough, boy was I wrong. I am now on the 4th one and it is getting easier (still difficult). Once I finish cutting them I will do the final finish on them and post them, until then, C-Ya..art
