They are specially made for hard wood and the manufacturer says that they are "comparable to a miniature band saw". Just curious... BadBob Posted September 8 Report Share Posted September 8 From the Grobet website. I'm going to have to try these. I cut a lot of 1.5-inch wood. Olsen sells blades for cutting thick wood. The tpi is very low. For example, the Super Hook #11 is 9.0. I would recommend the Pegas Super Skip blades.
