It’s a trivet.  6”. As a trial I have finished it with lemon oil. Sort of hoping it will release a lemon scent when you place something warm on it.  I never considered it as a wall hanging so I thank you for the idea for the next generation of this.

The pattern came from Shutterstock.  As you say the simplicity makes it. The wood was a bonus.
