rosuconstantin Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 I receive from Dremel a newsletter with this new product - Moto-Saw. It is a product what worth attentions, at least for beginers? http://www.dremeleurope.com/dremelocs-r ... E-moto-saw Quote
kardar2 Posted September 12, 2012 Report Posted September 12, 2012 I don't think this is going to be a good seller. Quote
Papatch Posted September 13, 2012 Report Posted September 13, 2012 I don't think it would be useful to a serious scroll sawyer. For the same money I buy a good used saw, if fact that's what I did. You can get a pretty good saw on C/L for $50 to $75. I picked up a nice Craftsman with a stand for $50. Quote
rjR Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 I found this link in English about it! Decades ago; I remember something of the similar idea being around. I can see it used for only certain applications. I do think it is meant as a supplementary tool, not a main one. Quote
Travis Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 The video makes it look like it uses pinned blades, which really limits it's usefulness for hobby work. I like that it can be handheld, which is pretty neat. Quote
amazingkevin Posted October 29, 2012 Report Posted October 29, 2012 I'd have to try it but how do you compare it to what, the project size is limited,if it is pinned bladed thats another minus.it looks like it's model builders machine. Quote
