New HF Dust Collector

That got my attention. I have an older Delta with a bag filter that I want to change to a paper filter. No one makes a filter for it, so I am going to be watching this one closely.

Yeah, same thing with me.. While I will likely wait until a better economy one like this in on my list at some point so I'll also be watching for reviews etc. on ths

Also watching.  I need to upgrade my dust collection system.

It might be a tough decision for me. Through experimentation, I found that my shop vac works better for most of my tools, probably because they are all designed for that. I don't have anything that connects to a 4-inch connector. I'm waiting to see if someone does a comprehensive review.

Have you looked here?  I have the setup pictured on this page, They may have one for your delta.

That is the one I wanted, but they don't have one that fits the model I have.

They also just came out with this new Hepa Vac that gets good reviews from the web.

side by side comparison of their $299 DC, it appears less CFM, less HP but same prop 65 warning.

 

I've read of people making adapters for air filters to fit their DCs.

Yes, many people have done this. I looked at it and decided that since I didn't know what any adapter I made would do to the airflow, I didn't want to spend the time, effort, and money to make it happen. My vacuum filter and separator work fine, and I don't have any tools that have 4-inch ports.
