Akitaguy Posted November 9, 2024 Report Posted November 9, 2024 Hello, I am Akitaguy and I am a very amature scroll sawer. I have been working on 3D ornaments for my family for Christmas. I hope to learn how to improve and advance. I just retired this year and started back on the saw. My kids bought me a Craftsman 16" 315216260 years ago, but the upper clamp wore out and I can't find a replacement. Looking forward to talking and learning. ChelCass, OCtoolguy and Michael B. 3 Quote

Blaughn Posted November 11, 2024 Report Posted November 11, 2024 Welcome to the Village, Ronald. Craigslist can be a really good source for used saws. Good luck!! Bruce Quote
Scrappile Posted November 11, 2024 Report Posted November 11, 2024 Welcome! Glad you joined us. I also love making the 3D stuff. No matter how many I cut, I still am amazed when you find the treasure inside. Here is one you might enjoy trying. I have made several of these of different sizes. Cutting the wild hair is a real treat. The pattern for these Nut Cracker is a JEPlans.com. OCtoolguy and heppnerguy 2 Quote
Dak0ta52 Posted November 11, 2024 Report Posted November 11, 2024 Welcome from North Carolina. I know nothing about the Craftsman scroll saw but I'm sure there are members here that have knowledge where parts may be available. OCtoolguy 1 Quote

Ctutor Posted November 23, 2024 Report Posted November 23, 2024 welcome. Rather than chase down an old clamp check with Denny Kapin this sight and see if a Pegus clamp will fit if so they are much better than an old one OCtoolguy 1 Quote
