The body I cut from 1-3/4 inch square poplar. The wings and tail sections are made from walnut. THe canopy and the engine nacelles are stained. After fulfilling my commitment to the Air Force I joined the reserve unit at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. I was on the crew that took the dis-mantled A-10 to New York for testing. Got a nice pin and picture from the developers of the A-10. Also got to spend a nice couple of days in New York City on this trip.
