BadBob
This doesn't look like much, but considering that I made 326 elephant ornaments, I think that deserves a little brag. These are cut from 1/2-inch thick African padauk I purchased from Ocooch hardwoods. Now I have orange sawdust all over my shop. Believe it or not, elephant ornaments are a thing. FrankEV
If I had to make over 300 of those ornaments I would buy a laser cutter and program it to make them and, while thay are being cut, I would go make something more enjoyable on my scroll saw. If you are making that many on the SS to sell, to me that is no longer a hobby, it is to more like sweat shop labor. Sorry if you take ofence. Wichman
Frank, when I am in the zone I can reduce the universe down to a 5" circle and let my CDO have full access. barb.j.enders and FrankEV
BadBob
They were sold before the first piece was cut. Cutting them was not a chore. Sanding was the hard part. wombatie

wombatie Posted yesterday at 04:13 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 04:13 AM You did a terrific job. 326 x $ is nothing to be sneezed at, lots of blades and wood can be making their way into you workshop and time soon. Marg
