eugene Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 I have been thinking about buying a new RBI saw. I went to their website but it doesn't tell you much. Anyone know if they plan to update their website and make it more shopper friendly. It would be nice to know the different size saws they offer, their differences, the tension method used, cost, and so on. Quote
graybeardstl Posted September 19, 2012 Report Posted September 19, 2012 At the SAW Expo in Springfield, MO I had dinner with the folks from Bushton and they were most helpful and very nice folks. I would suggest you call them direct and talk with them. Hawk Woodworking Tools PO BOX 127 319 S. kardar2 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 I emailed a few months back they told me that they were in the proccess of updating their website. I was pretty frank with them and told them I did not like their site. You can't see anything up close. I Suggested for them to make a video with up close footage. And ad a link to their website. Ben12 Posted September 26, 2012 Report Posted September 26, 2012 They have not updated their site as of today. I have emailed them and they do respond. I want to purchase the retrofit front legs to update my RBI 220VS so I can sit and do my scrollin' and intarsia. They do not have the complete set ready to ship. Something to do with the shorter front legs are not available until mid Oct. They really need to do something with that web site and fast if they want to stay in business. Just a note I have owned the RBI 220VS since 1994 and it runs as smooth now as it did when it was new. Quote
LarrynKy Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 I have called them and and found them to be helpful. I puruchased the standard front legs for my 226VS saw. The one I have had the legs for the wheelchair option and took up too much room. I will keep those legs just in case.... Until the site is updated just call them...they do return the call if you have to leave a voicemail. Larry Smith Quote
