Tom Gi
I bought a hegner saw used it is the multi max 22v 2024 where the insert is for the blade is the blade supposed to be centered in the line where the table is cut for the blade to go in this one looks like the person before ground out a chunk of the insert for the blade it is off center by a bit is there any adjustment to the table so it could be moved over just a bit and then get a new insert to close up some of the opening OCtoolguy
kmmcrafts
Yeah that's not supposed to be like that. You might be able to loosen up the bolts on the table top and center the table top to the blade and then snug it back up... Had to do this on a couple different saws I've had over the years.. but never had one off quite that far. OCtoolguy
Charlie E
My Hegner came from Advanced Machinery with the blade off center like that. They advised me to check the area I have circled to see if it appeared to have shifted in shipping. I could see it had by the paint seal being broken. There is either 1 or 2 bolts underneath that can be loosened to realign this. Edited December 29, 2024 by Charlie E OCtoolguy
Charlie E
Also, personally I wouldn’t worry about the insert unless you’re planning on cutting very small pieces. Mine is wallowed out a bit from me putting too much pressure left or and I don’t notice that it affects me at all. Others may disagree. JTTHECLOCKMAN
Check to see if the table is 90 degrees to the blade before you move the table. If it is then do as other suggested and move the table top. OCtoolguy

I took it apart today and got it adjusted the way it should be . one of the screws was stripped out that holds the motor so three holding should be on thanks for the help Scrappile, Charlie E and OCtoolguy

If one of your motor bolts is stripped out, I'd either drill and tap to the next size or Heli-coil the hole back to original. I know for fact that if you loosen the 3 bolts that hold the saw to the stand, there is an order in which you should tighten them to avoid vibration. I experimented with mine and it is true. If I recall, you have to tighten the two front bolts nearest the operator and then snug the 3rd at the rear of the saw. As for the insert, if you feel a need to have a zero clearance insert, just take a playing card, slit it half way through and then tape it to the table top. If it gets "wollered" out, just put a new card in it's place.
