GreggA
It's been 14 years since I did scrollsawing. I used to use the Dremel Scroll station. I had a 25%off coupon so I bought the Bauer 22in. Now I need to get blades, wood, drill bits etc. I'm starting over since I last did it, but I'm excited. jerry walters
Welcome to the Village Gregg. More importantly welcome back to scrolling. With your new saw you will have many years of enjoyment. Although the Bauer is new some of our members give it high marks. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Folks here are very knowledgeable and willing to help any way they can. Jerry Be_O_Be
Scrappile
Welcome to the Village. Glad to have you. Keep us posted about your new saw. They are new on the market so very little history. Be_O_Be
Ber Gueda
Looking at the pictures a question came to my mind: I find the blade a little far away from the front edge of the table. Is it more comfortable to scoll like this? Be_O_Be
ScrollerGuy
I have the Grizzly 22 inch which has a very large table with the blade similarly further from the front. It took a little while to visually get used to the increased distance, but it became normal pretty quickly. More room in the front of the blade makes cutting large pieces a little easier because more of the weight is on the table instead of hanging off, which makes tipping of the project less likely. I would likely have purchased the Bauer saw if it was available when I got the Grizzly. The price is too good to not give it a try, especially if you can get your hands on one of the 25% off coupons.
