Phdesigns Posted Sunday at 03:24 AM Report Posted Sunday at 03:24 AM Greetings. New scroller here. Been a machinist all my life and an arm chair woodworker. Haven’t done much do to my perfectionistic mindset! Have always thought scrolling looked like fun so….. Other hobbies are pen turning and some metal working and have tried some jewelry making. Still working full time at 65 but looking to add a side thing for when I retire to keep me out of trouble (if that’s possible!) Bought a Bauer 22” new and set it up and made a couple of cuts to play. Sure I will be asking for tips and tricks as I go along. JJB 1 Quote

JJB Posted yesterday at 02:05 PM Report Posted yesterday at 02:05 PM Welcome! I too live in OKC. I have looked at the Bauer saw and thought about getting one. Seems like a good saw, but I have a Dewalt 788 currently, which is also a great saw so I cannot justify buying a new one right now. Have fun with your woodworking journey! Quote

preprius Posted 19 hours ago Report Posted 19 hours ago Welcome. I am in the far west, CA. The fun thing about scrolling the tolerance -/+ % is huge. Most of the time we don't use micrometers. We like pictures so we can be inspired by cool ideas. Oh they help with answering questions too. Me. Mark Eason Quote
