Popular Post barb.j.enders Posted January 16 Popular Post Report Posted January 16 (edited) Well, it doesn't really belong here except it is a finished project. Don't remember exactly where the artwork came from, but is was free. This 7"x7" using the craft panels from KJP Select and stack cut 2. Mirror finish is a peel & stick roll on masonite backer. Used some older, heavy-duty spray, thinking it would be easier to apply evenly, with no squeeze out. Well.....it came out very stringy. Tried cleaning it up with the sanding mop. That exploded!!!! Down to one! Cleaned it up a bit. Sprayed with 3m77. Not a great hold, but no squeeze out. There are still blobs of the bad glue so this one will be hung in the workshop instead of being sold. This is a giraffe looking down and backwards at you! Edited January 18 by barb.j.enders added info Jim McDonald, Tomanydogs, TexasDIY and 17 others 20 Quote
BadBob Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 I hate it when I work hard at something and have to throw it away. It took me a few seconds to determine what I was looking at. barb.j.enders 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted January 16 Report Posted January 16 I found that alcohol cleans up 3M77 very well. Any alcohol, rubbing, denatured, does not matter. I have attached several cutting to a backer using 3M77 an all are still together after several years. barb.j.enders 1 Quote

It was an older heavy duty glue that I had used on the boat to hold the headliner (carpet on the ceiling) to the fiberglass. The problem is all the little spaces that the glue got into. It looked like a spiderweb before I cleaned it up a bit. Quote
Denny Knappen Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 I must be like most. I had to take a second look to see what I am looking at. That is a wonderful cutting. barb.j.enders 1 Quote
