Another wonderful piece.  Which pieces are Lacewood?

The first top feather on the left and then count down from there to the fourth.  On the block I cut from, it is very pronounced.  The sanding has minimized it.  I sure it would show better on a larger piece.

Very nice!
I have a question for you.  I notice that you use a lot of what I call exotic hardwoods. Being up there in the Frozen Tundra,

where do you get it from, and in what sizes?
By the way, it’s gonna get up to 36 degrees Fahrenheit here today. It’s a heatwave, and the sap is running in the maples.  Hopefully be boiling it this weekend

Thanks Gonzo.

I purchased a bunch of s4s wood from KJP Select Hardwoods.  They are in Ontario so it does have to be shipped.  I can get some from Windsor Plywood here in Winnipeg.  They do not have a lot in the s4s product so I haven't gotten as much from them.  I don't have a way to mill the wood myself.  Also not particularly interested in figuring that out.  I have a friend that also does woodworking.  He keeps a box that he fills up with various woods.  He calls it his "Barb" box.😂
