I have a few things that I started and not finished. I am going to try to get these things finished before I begin again. I DO lead a monthly Scroll Saw Club. I already have a challenge peace for the month completed, it’s jewelry. So, let’s see if I can get some of these finished before the next club meeting. I also completed a candle holder for my general woodworking club challenge. OH! There is also that whirligig I started…. Finished this butterfly one Gonzo, JackJones, Mike Crosa and 8 others 11 Quote

What I like about this, is there is no scrap at all, just the sawdust from the kurf of the blade, which happens to be a Pegas MGT#9. Oh and I suppose the scrap on the perimeter of the bowl. Lots of shaping/forming, (read sanding). A lot of fun to make. I plan on finishing it with shellac using the the French polish method. However, I don’t have the guts to attempt what ScrollerPete is doing. One of these days Pete, one of these days. Very nice. I am getting ready to cut a bowl from her book as a wedding present. Just wondering what angle you cut that at? Scrappile 1 Quote

BadBob Posted March 20 Report Posted March 20 I haven't been doing much-making things in the shop. There is much broken stuff. I made these fluffy kittens today for a custom order. Nothing fancy, just some cutouts for her to paint. I cut them from a piece of premium pine from Home Depot. ChelCass, RabidAlien, Scrappile and 2 others 5 Quote

Xcrewchief Posted Wednesday at 01:53 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 01:53 AM Hello folks! I’m new to the group and pretty much a rookie scroller. this is the project I just finished working on because I got an email from a friend of mine with my favorite woodworking question: can you make this? I don’t have the skill (or saws) you talented folks have, but I do what I can. (I didn’t do the actual skull or antlers) RabidAlien, JackJones and Wichman 3 Quote
