I just want to give a Thank You Shout out to Sue Mey.  She went above and beyond.  Thanks Sue.

Mike

Just curious what she did for you to send a cudos to her? I buy a lot of patterns from her also, but i sent a special request to her last year and never heard back from her.

She had done many special request for me in past years and was awesome helpful.. That said I had a special request a few years ago and she finally did reply but it was several weeks and said she was too busy to do the request. Last fall / winter I had another request to modify one of her designs and send a request in.. after week and a half or two weeks I thought she wasn't going to even answer me but turns out she did send me the revised design free of charge because it took her a few days to get back to me.. the reply was in my spam mail folder for some reason so I didn't know she sent me the message until several weeks later.. Unfortunately I found a different pattern from Steve Good that I was able to modify and use so I never did use the design she did for me..

I have done a couple of her bowls from patterns in magazines. Whenever I have had a question, I emailed her and she has always responded. It may take a few days but when she has time, she replies. I hold her in high regards also.

I'm another old guy who forgets things too often. I ordered a pattern from Sue only to find out I bought the same pattern last year. I sent her a note asking if I could get a discount on my next one and she offered to send me a replacement pattern of my choice at no charge. I've bought many of her patterns over the years and she's been helpful but does get busy. I prefer patterns with lines rather than blacked out areas which are more the norm.  With those patterns, I can't see the cut very well if the blade is in the black. My eyes aren't what they used to be.
