SoBoCo Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 Hello, I'm a former structural engineer living in Boulder, Colorado. More of a woodcarver, but I just purchased a used scroll saw to help cut out patterns. I'm glad I ran across this site as it has been very helpful in getting started. Looking forward to learning more. Scrappile and Wichman 2 Quote
Wichman Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 Welcome to the village from SE Idaho What scroll saw did you get? Quote
jerry walters Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 (edited) Hi Dale, I'm your neighbor in Arvada. Not many folks from Colorado here. You are going to learn a lot from the folks here. I joined a little over 3 years ago and what I have learned here outweighs what I have learned researching related scroll saw information. As you start posting what you do, folks here like to see pictures. We do have a member from Broomfield. Your neighbor, Jerry Edited March 19 by jerry walters Quote

SoBoCo Posted March 19 Author Report Posted March 19 I ended up getting a variable speed Ryobi off of FB for $10. It checked out fine in the seller's garage with a couple of test cuts. I've since cleaned it up and squared everything up. As of today, I have more invested in blades than the saw. Quote
