JimNC Posted March 22 Report Posted March 22 Wow I learned a new word today "fretsaw". I had to look it up. If a saw doesn't have a motor attached I don't use it. LOL Fab4, MarieC and wombatie 3 Quote
rdatelle Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 That came out great. Still amazes me how you do that with a hand held saw. yamatetsu 1 Quote
Dave Monk Posted March 24 Report Posted March 24 Great job. Sure were a lot of pieces to glue in. Quote

heppnerguy Posted April 5 Report Posted April 5 Wow. You are an amazing scroller, especially considering you use a hand held scroll saw cutter. I am beyond impressed. I was going to as how you were able to cut this without the white part falling out, as I saw no bridges, but I later say they did fall out and you glued them all back in place. yamatetsu Posted April 6 Author Report Posted April 6 Yup, that was one of the complicated ones. I could only cut out 3-7 pieces at a time, and I had to cut them in a way that the 'frame' around them stayed intact, because I needed the frame as a reference for glueing. Cut some pieces, sand them, put the top board on the backer, align them, put glue on the pieces, drop them in, wait for the glue to set a bit, carefully lift off the top board, rinse and repeat.
