Barb what a great idea.  I may steal your idea.

I used Steve Good's key chain maker.  Not sure why they came out as small as they did.  They are  3.5" long x 1/2" wide.  Used 1/4" poplar.  You don't have to steal it.... I give you permission🤣🤣🤣

There is a little slide at the top.  If all the way to the left the key chain come out at about 3/8 high. I usually have at 100-105 and the key chain is 7/8 high which is the size of the precut wood I use for key chains.

I like the idea of the small ones and going to cut a couple that way (Heart and Canada).

Thanks for the idea.

I am not a big gnome enthusiast but they are really cute little critters. I like how these came out and I always enjoy items that people create themselves too, as it is fun to see how new ideas come from peoples minds. I have a question for you. How did you make the part in the mustache that appears to be 'standing out'?

When I do the beard on gnomes I use to use snowdrift paint. It works well but now I mix a little bit of drywall compound with white acrylic paint. I apply and streak with a small dowel or toothpick.

Depending how looks I paint with white only .
