Anniversary plaque for Daughter and Her Husband

This a modified Charlie  @Charlie E rendition.  Thank you Charlie!  I changed the pattern he sent me because I wanted an Irish look (since they love Ireland)  I had to actually cut and paste the letters and used white-out to make the pattern I wanted, plus she likes plants/trees so I added some leaves.  Attached is the pattern Charlie made me as well as my final work.  I also decided to do some hand carving since I wanted a bit more depth.  I used green satin fabric in epoxy for the background over a thin sheet of Paruvian walnut.

Beautiful job! I’ve never been in an Irish pub but it looks like it would be right at home in one.

Thanks Charlie!  I haven't been to an irish pub either but I hope she feels the irish vibe from it!

Thanks Paul.  It was difficult to photograph.  The background is really sparkly but it didn't come out.  I will try to remember it bring it with me when I come down and see you....

Barb @barb.j.enders, thank so much!   I took calligraphy in college so I tried to remember all the directions the letters were shaped.  I goofed on a few but for the most part I think I remember correctly.  It was really not too hard to do.  Thanks again!
