tracyguy
Hi Guys I have a chance of getting myself a small benchtop guillotine. I have already got myself a dewalt chop saw. My question is this, what is better for picture frames. Do I get the guillotine or should I just stick to my chop saw? My saw is not quite accurate but its nearly there. Any help would be greatfully recieved. Thanks Martin
amazingkevin
Not sure myself but most saws are adjustable to compensate.I did it to mine ,and now is fine.
Travis
I never used a guillotine, but my understanding is that it's very accurate. I believe most frame shops use the guillotine when making frames. Probably the way to do it is to use the chop saw to get close to the mark, then use the guillotine to fine tune the miter. WolfmoonCT
Guillotine's are amazingly accurate.. especialy if you have a sharp blade. .they can cut slivers so thin.. If you got a chopsaw already, get the guillotine
