White Pine And Black Walnut Box

This box was cut from white pine and black walnut. The finish is shellac. I notched the corners at 3/4 of an inch with the scrollsaw then glued in 3/4 square blocks of black walnut. It is 3 x 5"

No reason why you can not. This type of box is real easy to make. To make one of the variations like the one I did is just a little attention to detail when cutting. Seriously there are no special skills needed. If you can cut a straight line you can make the box. All it takes is a bit of practice.

Hahaha,Boxes are my worst,neve a plumb corner.This box is very differant and a joy to see!Beautyful work indeed!
