Nice work! I did this same one several years ago.. maybe 2013 ish.. Always wanted to make another but never did get to it. I made mine from Walnut and Maple if I remember correctly. It's a fun one and also fairly easy one to make.

not sure about the easy part, but I have to always remember to stack cut any piece up to one inch thick together so when I glue them up they are exact. less sanding and adjusting

Great job, Al.  Many hours of play for the little one.

He's now getting into Lego sets

my son is 42 and has a Lego room in his house

he buys plastic display cases to keep his most favored set ups like roller coasters from legos

He loves building sets with his nephew and teaching him

Looks great to me too.. Nice work!! really sort of resembles the walnut and maple one I made.. I run across a picture of mine that came across my memories on Facebook the other day so I saved it to my computer. Here is a shot of mine.. I sold mine on Artfire marketplace years ago as a artwork piece rather than a toy and the buyer paid $110 + shipping

My client paid me with hugs

took him all of 3 minutes to pull off a wheel but we took care of that

he's a happy camper and his sister liked her mermaid

Those smiles are worth more than any amount of money... hugs are a bonus on top of that.. Job well done.
