Hi to everyone.  I am about 2 weeks away from being allowed to go down & up the stair case to my shop, first back surgery, then 3 weeks ago I had my right hipreplaced.  I can't wait to smell saw dust again.  Anyway, the ideas & patterns have been building up, and I'm rearing to go.  My question is...can anyone help me identify this name puzzle font?  One of my better customers saw this on, I think she said PINTREST, and she would like birthday presents for her grandchildren.  I remember reading that there is a site on the internet that can either ID or suggest a close match.  Thank you all in advance.

Reverse searching this image probably won't help you. If you look for this you will find that it's basically an ad for people/shops selling personalized wood puzzles. These are shops that let you enter a name, then they will send you the puzzle, charging by letter. So Anne-Christine McDowell-Smithereens would be really expensive :)

Try googling 'personalized wooden puzzle name'.

I do not know of that font.  I didn't search dafont.

I used to do puzzle names.  I used copper black and added the little knobs by hand in Inkscape.  I only have one pic completed. and a pattern for my niece.

There was a videos on Youtube where the fellow printed the letters and added the knobs with eraser and pencil ,  I could not find.

If you want cooper black send me the name and I can see what I can do.

I have figured out that the original for this was done Brian Beals his grand daughter is Alexis

I have tried to find web site but get error.  If you can figure out how to get to his page you might be able to ask font.  He has 4 articles with SSW.  This is from issue 52

A grandchild’s interest in puzzles inspired Brian Beals, a retired engineer from Jasper, Ga., to make several wooden puzzles. Enthusiastic responses from friends encouraged Brian to exhibit his work at a local arts and crafts show, and when that was a success he formed Pickens Puzzles. To see more of his work, visit www.pickenspuzzles.com.

It may be a one-off font not in any available font list. I think Brian Beals may have made the font himself. I also tried to page that Don mentioned and it is not working. I did find him on LinkedIn. If you have an account you can probably get his contact info or contact him through LinkedIn.

If you are familiar with Inkscape you could probably duplicate those letters but that may not be of much help for you.

Also, I found Brian Beals' puzzle on a sight that I think belongs to our own alexfox (https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/profile/30001-alexfox/). Maybe reach out to him.
