Kingfisher in 1/2 cherry

I often see these cool birds when trout fishing on Rivers in the Northeast. They have a swoopy flight pattern and a raspy caw call. Very entertaining bird. Getting better at cutting the self frame. Used 9 degrees off from 90.

They are neat birds.  We have a few of them here on the West Coast, don't see them often, but they are here.  I had one fly into my front room window once.  Knocked him out.  I went out, picked it up, and placed it on my deck railing.  It sat there for over half an hour, then it was able to fly to a nearby tree, sit for a while, more then flew off.
