Popular Post Scrappile Posted April 24 Popular Post Report Posted April 24 Wanted to do something to remember the beautiful Pheasants, which used to be plentiful in our area. Now it is very exciting to see one. Been hearing on but have not spotted him yet. This is a Mike Williams pattern, 1/4" BB. Both straight and spiral blades were used. Got to take a day and make frames, I have 4 pictures waiting for frames. Fish, barb.j.enders, Rolf and 21 others 21 1 2 Quote
Gonzo Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 Wow! Very nice piece. How big is it? As for pheasants, We are very fortunate. Our land abuts a wildlife management area. It seems to be teeming with pheasants. I attribute that to two winters in a row that weren’t too terribly bad. Scrappile 1 Quote
Dak0ta52 Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 Beautiful piece, Paul. I also have a few projects needing frames. I've started them but the cath lab got in the way. I'm hoping I'll feel up to finishing a couple this weekend. wombatie and Scrappile 1 1 Quote

I used to have many, but when the U&I Sigarbeets left, the pheasants started disappearing. I do not know what Pheasants do with sugarbeets, but that is what I have been told. Quote

The Cath lab went... okay. 99% blockage in one artery that was cleaned and ballooned. 70% blockage in another artery couldn't be reached for repair through the wrist. Will have to go back in sometime in the future through the femoral artery. Regardless, that as done on Thursday so Friday left me some time to work on the frames. Was able to cut, glue, spline, sand and stain five frames. Now all I have to do is finish them with a little polyacrylic and mount the projects. It was nice being in the shop again. Scrappile 1 Quote

It turned out wonderful! I got the new upgraded top clamp on. And I think the reason the upper arm would not go up when I released the blade was because the bolt that holds the arm was too tight. Took the arm off to replace the clamp, and he had two washers on one side of the bolt and one washer on the other. I think that allowed him to tighten the bolt too tightly. I looked at the Parts Diagram, and it only calls for one washer on each end of the bolt. Put it together that way, and the arm goes up like it should. Quote
