EX 21

I'm experiencing something very strange with my ex21, I can be quite happily cutting away when suddenly the motor speeds up, usually for less than a minute and then returns to normal before doing it again a few minutes later, very disconcerting when doing fine cuts. Can anyone tell me why this should be happening or more importantly how to cure it, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Sounds like the speed controller is on the fritz. You might have to replace it. I'd shoot the manufacturer and email and see if they've heard of the problem and know of any fixes.

I HAD THIS PROBLEM ON A 20"CRAFTSMAN C-ARM SCROLL SAW I LOVED NEXT THING YOU KNOW IT'S WAY PASSED WIDE OPEN LIKE A ROUTER.I THE GARBAGE IT WENT!
