kardar2
Hello All, So my son's girlfriend asked me to make a word art with a name. So we sat down to work out the details. She wants the letters like 5" tall. So I searched the post and amazingkevin mentioned resizing things with inkscape so I thought cool our buddy Travis shows us how to use it. well I cant to seem to get it no bigger than 144 pt. So I thought I would see how much rapid resizer cost and I saw a free trial..... Cool I thought! I can try it out first. So I down loaded it and it did it thing and all but then came the problem. I had a saved file of the name in Microsoft word starter. but when I went to get the file it said it could not be opened. huh. So can anyone that owns this program has this problem or is this a case of a limited program cause it is a free trial. thanks monclerjassenFS
Travis
I use PosteRazor. It's a free program that does the same thing as Rapid Resizer.
kardar2
Can I get 5 " letters out of it ?
Travis
I don't see why not. You basically tell the program what size you want a picture printed and it'll scale it for you. I've also replied to your scaling question in Inkscape. So you could do it there too. kardar2

gregmuri
You can also get the letter pretty much any size you want in inkscape. After you type what you want using the 144 pt just select the letter (select and transform objects) and drag to make it the size you are looking for. heppnerguy
I have to say that i have been using Rapid Resizer for a year now and I have found it to work very well. The one thing I do know is if you have any questions about using this program and email the owner with any question, he will answer your question and converse with you until you are completely satisfied, He is always updating his program and adding new things..one thing I like about it, is he is open for his users input and works to include their input suggestions..He even will email you to make certain what you wish to have within the program. the owner is a lot like our own Travis.... kardar2
