cutterwoodjoe
Hi, I just found out about this site from the scrollsaw workshop and it looks great. I have been a woodworker all my life, and started scrolling in 1986 with a craftsman 16". In 1988 I bought a Hegner and never stopped cutting, I did the shows and consignment shops, and due to health issues, now just do it for enjoyment. I am also a member of the penmakers guild and was elected in due to a combination of turning and scrolling ( a scrolled 3D closed end pen). I am planning a move to Pa right now so time may be limited but hope to visit here often as it looks like a great site. Thanx for letting me join the fun ~ Joe

Travis
Welcome to the Village, Joe! We're glad to have you on board. Pen turning is something I've been wanting to try for awhile now. I was saving my pennies this year to buy a lathe, but my savings plan fell through. So I'll probably have to wait until next year before trying my hand at it. Looks like a lot of fun. When you do the turning/scrolling project, could you share some pictures with the rest of us? We would love to see that take shape! Anyway, welcome aboard. Jump on in and have some fun!
