gator
okay my mind works funny so here's a question and a joke. question when scrolling a circle which direction do you go. i always go clock wise seems if i get off line its in the waste area to the right. which leads to this, do scrollers below the equator go the other way around? Docupton
Never really thought about it till you asked but I'm the same Gator, always go clockwise.
Dan
I'm usually stationary when I scroll. But here's what I want to know, if you say you scroll clockwise, does that mean the wood is moving clockwise in relation to the blade or the blade is moving clockwise in relation to the wood? gator
good point the wood i guess would be going counter clockwise. with wood between me and blade plow into circle turn wood closes to my belly counter clockwise. i can go both ways but usually mess up less with this path? Clayton717
I go which ever way is the easiest for the piece I am cutting
rickther
My blade goes both ways, Should I be worried.
retmsgt
I move the piece counter-clockwise so the blade is cutting clockwise. I guess it depends on your "hand" preference...right handed or left...
edward
I also go whichever way is easiest, pending on what cut I make. Edward
Scrappy Scroller
I go in the opposite way to the earths rotation, that way I scroll faster. Gary Big Mike, gator, Clayton717 and 1 other
wombatie
Ok so I guess I am the only one below the equator, and no I do not stand on my head to scroll. I have the blade going clockwise. Marg gator and Docupton
Messman
Well what I do when ever I have to cut a circle I call the local squirrel into the shop and let it cut it for me. While it is cutting the circle I prep for some squirrel stew Big Mike
Dan
Hey Marg, is clockwise south of the equator the same as clockwise up north?
