Clayton717
Great job Kevin. I like cutting aromatic red cedar, it's soft and cuts easy as well as smells good while cutting.
amazingkevin
I DON'T KNOW ABOUT SOFT ,IT TAKES ALOT OF TIME TO CUT AND SLOW.PLYWOOD CUTS MUCH FASTER.i THOUGHT AROMATIC CEDAR WAS A HARDWOOD? WHAT DO I KNOW.I'M NOT HAPPY ABOUT ALL THE PUSHING I NEED TO DO TO CUT IT COMPARED TO OTHER WOODS BUT THE FINISHED PRODUCT IS NICE TO SEE.THANK CLAYTON.YOU MUST BE BUSY YOURSELF? Nick@tinkers-cove
The font-work seems to be your trademark, Kev. Your lettering always seems to flow smoothly, which leaves a great finish. Nice work, again. I'll keep an eye out for more.

heppnerguy
the very first scroll thing I cut was a name,,,,,just to see if I could do it. I have found that almost everyone likes their name cut in wood. I did a nice graduation piece for a girl and included her name as an additional gift. When she replied. she added, I especially like my wooden name..surprised me.
heppnerguy
Kevin, What is the name of the font that you used on the "Rosa" name ? I would like to get it too.
amazingkevin
as far as i know it's in microsoft word that comes in your computer ,the font is mt script bold.i've looked around for more useabls scrypt but having them already in the micro word makes it easy to just print and go.i think other fonts you have to do one letter at a time cut and paste ?i don't even know what that means cut and paste.in micro word i select the size ,which is 72 color gray 30 or 40 then on the blue boxes i chose the angled one and the bold one next to it and then of course the m t bold scrypt. also threse centering boxes to play with to.I'm not keen on margins but allot can be done in micro word.i just don't know how to find out what all can be done. One of our members in my begining day wowed me with his lettering skills and to this day im fascinated that i can do these letters.i had no idea he was using a computer to lay it all out .i was using paper stencils to show you how illiterite i was not knowing.when i learned the right way i took off.
