revdave
I have been having serious trouble holding my number 2 blades in my Dewalt saw. I tighten them and they slip out again and again and again. I've tried everything I can think of. Any ideas?
Jim Finn
Adjust the set screw in the clamp. That is what I had to do when I had a DeWalt. Some folks find that sanding the blades a bit on the ends to rough them up a bit also helps. Travis and Lucky2
WolfmoonCT
When mine starts this, I back the set screw out (it's usually the bottom one all the time) then hit it with a little rub of some 220 grit and it's good to go Lucky2
RichieB
Sanding the ends with emery cloth does the trick for me. Richie Lucky2
amazingkevin
#2 should be no problem slipping as the metal squeezes as you tighten the screws.you can feel t squish.to tight and you flaten it right out and theres no meat to hold it .
