Thanks to all who helped me out with my problem of blade slippage. No problems at all now. The solution was two-fold.  First I tightened the set screw which I didn't even know existed. That may have solved my problem all by itself. But I also bought the Seyco thumbscrew blade tighteners which have the unique feature of the end not turning once you tighten in the blade. Too expensive, but it works.

Sounds like you found the problem yourself,Good for you!Things have a way of coming out in the open for you .sometimes it's the little things that get over looked  that cause the biggest problems.i'm sure this will help many that read this post and thank you for finding the solution!
