Making fretwork bowls

With Diane / ohioweaver permission:
make formed bowls using 1/32" Birch Plywood.
Diane says:
After about an hour of soaking the in hot water is removed the piece
Turn the small bowl over, put the soaked wood on it and place the large bowl over it to keep the shape. Let dry. (I haven't done it yet, but to save time if you need to, put the whole set into a 250 degree oven to speed up the drying. I like to let Nature take it's course in drying so I just go do something else.

When all dry and you like the shape, paint it (I use a coral colored paint but you could get very creative with colors for coral) if you wish or just stain it.

Done and a nice present for someone to use as a bowl for dry food or sit a glass bowl inside for other foods. Makes a nice container for Xmas balls, etc. and other celebrations, especially nice for Hawaiian themed table settings!
